I still have my 23'' spotted gar frozen in the freezer, I want to do it but it cost $22 per inch so the fish will end up costing me almost $500.

M silver arowana was 22'' thats 59cm. 59cm x 1.5 = 88.50 for 22'' fish.

I've been looking for a place here in Cali that'll do fish but I don't want those artificial shiny models most fisherman have mounted. I want my actual fish. It's still frozen in my freezer

I couldn't do this. To each their own, but to me it would feel like one of my friends or a family member was hanging on my wall and watching me eat my meals or whatever.
My dad had a huge largemouth bass done up that is still in his house. It was in the bathroom I used growing up. It would bother me when I was doing my thing. I don't even want dead things to watch me poop.

I just wanna do it with this particular fish BC I paid a grit load for it and it was in horrible condition when it arrived and ended up dying. Since I paid so much i just want it as a display piece since it obviously won't be chillin in my tank.

When my Florida Gar dies im going to take it to a taxidermist to get professionally done but i have preserved some of my other fish by mummification.
