fish tank head board project

Better idea would have been to make that whoooole thing a realllly tall plywood tank ;)
 
Buddy I used to work with - his parents had a fishtank foot board at the end of their bed, all I saw were cellphone pictures that he showed me at work. Very interesting home project.
 
Yeah the next will be a footboard with a more shallow tank and a LCD on top of it probably

Wouldnt the sound of pumps and filters keep you up? My main tank is setup 3 feet from my bed (i sleep in basement), im used to mine now after a few years but still wake up everyday having to pee listening to running water all night long lol

I am so glad I'm the type of wife that would love this kind of thing. Now, if I can just get my husband to help me do it! Poor guys who don't have fish nerd wives!
I told my husband I could have all the furniture moved out of the living room by 5 p.m. if he would replace it with a pond full of Port Jackson sharks. There is now an 18' X 4', above ground pool in the garage. I just might get my wish!
I have to sell him on this headboard idea. About how much did it cost you to make, and what kind of adjustments would you make to replace the 55 with a 100 tall?
 
excelent! i have been dreaming of something similar for quite a while now :) good clean work, would love to see some good clean pictures of the bed with fish in the tank and it lit up!!! ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! i'm so jealous hahaha :)
