Looking for 2-24 inches lids/tops for my 55

Them I could jus get hinges. What kind of glass should I get thickness? Or should I get plexiglass?

Don't need hinges but if you have to have em, silicone top portion of lids together along with lid handles.

Plexiglass or acrylic if not thick enough will bend.

Just like exoticfishguy said, glass shop is best way to go.

Ok...too complicated for you. Just find the plastic hinges to connect the two pieces of glass.

Look on Drsfosterandsmith.com they have them just like what came with the tank. Got a set of 3 for my 125 for like 50 bucks. I beleive aqueion makes them. Pardon my spelling lol
