Fish tanks in the Bedroom

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yup have a 55 gallon SA cichlid tank and a soon to be 37 gallon hi tech planted community tank in my bedroom. Aquariums are something that both my wife and I do together. So the only rooms off limits are the kids bedrooms because of the toys and unwanted food that will inevitably end up in there.

A guy I know, has tanks all over the house, including a 125 in his 7yo son's room.

Married....At the beginning of the relationship he said " no tanks in the bedroom"

^_^

4 years later we now have : a 65g, 55, 2x 29g, 2x 20l, 16g, 10g and a 7 gallon all in the bedroom.

The TV got moved out about two years ago to make room..closet doors are long gone and the dresser now lives in the closet.

^_^...he is now as obsessed with the hobby as I am..maybe even more.

last thing i need or want is a Jag looking at my, well you know, like a large night crawler, tanks stay in the living room and hall.

I have 100 gallon in mine. My soon to be wife knows that if there was a way to incorporate fish in the bed itself we would be sleeping with them. So, she is glad to quit while she is ahead and deal with the filter motor.

There's a guy on here, necro i think, who built a great big ply tank in his bedroom and pits his matress on top as a bed! Genuinly sleeps with the fishes!
