Fish Tanks.. whats your next upgrade?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
55 baby, found a great one, used, with cichlids, filter stand heater etc, 100 bucks, just need to scrounge up 60 more dollars, and that baby is mine, all mine!

I'd like to strip down my 125 reef tank and do a tank full of Neons or Cardinals and Endler's. Or an African Cichlid and Synodontis tank with PVC piped in the gravel like a hamster trail/tunnel tube thing. Congo tetras (schooling mid/top water) smaller not so agressive cichlids (5" max) and Synodontis Angelicus I have a feeling the African tank will be more likely but one of these days I'd really like to see a school of Neons or Cardinals with Endler's.

Big weekend coming up ... I'm adding a 180 gallon an 2 75 gallon tanks to the collection ... My wife might kick me out of the house, so if anyone has an apartment to rent let me know ...

When I move into my new house I'm looking to get around a 300 - 450 tank, then I will convert my 120 into a tank full of schoolers. Probably sell the 33...

Getting a 120g (4'x2'). Also, currently have a 180g (6'x2') stored in my parent's garage just waiting to be set up again. The dilemma is trying to look for an place where the rent isn't astronomical and the landlord don't freak out on having large tanks in their rental.

triing to figure out how to pay the electric bill and still keep fish :(
I hear you. Southern California Edison has a program for "low income" families. I think I am getting 20% off my bill. I called them and complained that all those greedy power comapnies are taking all my money. 20% is not alot, but at $400 a month, that is a nice chunk. I have a 330, two 125's, one 100, one 60, two 40's, two 10, and a propagation tank with eight 5 gallons, six, 10 gallons, two 30 gallons, and a 180 sump. In addition, I have the 240 I am planning on setting up once I tear down the workbench in the side of the garage. California winters does not get too cold, but I have a feeling I would be spennding more this winter. So yeah, I think I am packed right now...unless, I get a grant from the government for aquaculture. Small business loans rock! www.sbl.gov i think.

I am getting a free 30 gallon I found a garage sale I dont know what I am going to put in yet, waiting to cycle it first. Pretty awesome though for a free tank!
