Drew this on a scrap piece of paper in a bar about 13 years ago. I wanted a koi but not a traditional one (gotta be different than everyone else right?).
The guy who inked it onto my back didn't follow my design as good as hoped but I still like it. Of course, it looked way better 13 years ago.

My wife is having the full back tattoo finished off by a Japanese koi, she has the Imperial Dragom already there, along with the Phoenix, so it will finish it off perfectly.

I got a bud who has fish tatts. They are all over his body like yours. He has a perch skeliton on his back.He is a fishing fool. One time his lady had a big stingray on a fishing line. The line snapped right as it was being hauled out of the water. He jumped in the ocean after it. He cought it. It was 3 feet across.
