fish that died

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
as i said one still lives, just one died, and the fish did live for about maybe a week can't remember now. i don't have a heater, and the fish are fine. the temp of the water is 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21 degrees C unless the water needs to be warmer i will get a heater, but the fish are not sick or dying now, and i have not used a heater since i got it, last year on my bday.

It would be in your best interest to buya water testing kit. Knowing ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels is what we need to know now. And what fish do you have?

Cycle the tank first next time you set up a new tank. I know people have already said that, but they aren't lying. just google aquarium cycle. also too many new fish at once can cause an ammonia spike, i don't think two fish would do this unless it was a 1.5 or 5 gallon though

cycle first, it takes more than a day. a week maybe two to do it at least.
