All of those nearly identical African Malawi, Tanganyikan etc. cichlids.
I agree with the Malawi cichlid thing, but not the Tanganyikans. Tangs have a MUCH greater diversity in the hobby (in terms of color, shape, habits, etc.) than Malawis. I don't think it's even comparable.

I definitely agree with the p-bass thing. I mean they're cool, and when I have the space/money to set up a big SA monster community, there will be p-bass in it, but I don't think they're THAT cool.

The main thing I'm not a fan of are all the different man-made varieties of fish. I'm ok with selectively bred albinos and I even think EBJDs are pretty cool, but I'm not a fan of all the longfin and unnaturally colored tetras, barbs, livebearers, etc. Some of them are hard to find in wild-type coloration anymore

I deff agre about the odd collored tetras barbs ect my sister has a HOT PINK daino

Never had a huge interest in pbass. But I will say the REAL pbass owners on this site have some of the nicest tanks (crystal clear water, BIG tanks, nice lighting) around. By eal pbass owners I mean the people who have full grown adults... not the people who buy babies, stick them in 75 gallon tanks and go "hey everyone I have pbass weee" and then sell them in a month or two.

I actually have no interest in wolf fish for some reason. I never click on the threads that mention them. and for some reason armatus/tats/whatever they are called never did it for me. no idea why though.
