fish that i can neglect

Ive seen 8 8" plecos in a 29g tank with green/brown water. So yes plecos. But i will agree i have a problem keeping smaller plecos alive. But after 4" its all goooood.

Why not just use feeder/comet goldfish. buy em $0.10/each, and get 40 or 50 for the price of 1 common pleco. I don't mean to sound cruel, but if you're using the fish for a purpose, who cares about their livelihood beyond serving their purpose?
