Fish that like turbulent water?

I had started specializing a bit in rheophillic cichlid species before moving,

Even species like maskaheros seem to do better and are less aggressive if more flow than normal, is used

There are many many others from other rapids areas like Rhetroculus and "some" Geophagus from S America., and Africans like Telegramma and non-cichlids like African Tiger fish from rapids in the Congo, , or Darters from north America.
For the fish I kept above, I would send flow of over 1000 gph from the sump across the length of a 6 ft tank and sometimes add powerhead to that flow.

The blue whale catfish I had. Those like turbulent water

Barilus, Opsarius, Raiamas species. Danios, Rasbora species (not Boraras).

Many danio species, many loach species, dorado, trout, and funny enough there is a river monsters episode where a species of bright red pacu (not sure the exact species) was swimming up waterfalls like salmon. I will see if I can find it

I find my new small scale archerfish spending quite some time in front of a Sicce Voyager 8000. Although they do get out of the flow from time to time, I would say they do enjoy the flow.
