Black moors look awesome from the top... as mentioned, most goldfish and definitely koi were bred to be viewed from the top. Celestials/bubble eyes would look awesome from the top, but I'm not a fan of those yet...

I think I jinxed it last time by posting the pics too soon! I ran out of time finishing the pond...I'm about to join Fatherof5's club (two weeks to go!) and the missus INSISTED the spared room be tidy...shes nesting...so instead of tiling it I used linings. 1st layer is a taupalin, 2ed layer is plastic membrane you put under concrete and the 3rd is a polyethelyne sheet in case the 2ed layer was toxic... It should hold...I hope!!!!!!

That koi is a beauty. I was thinking of getting a silver arowana...

SIlver aros are nice but
1- would eat your tetras
2- Tend to jump.

I would sya you should do away with the tetras and get some rays and and a couple lima shovelnose cats.

i just made an inddor pond but it looks terrible just ply box but the tax i used to hold the liner have gone all rusty so will take a while for the plants to compensate
