Fish that you regret parting with...

I once had this really cool green bullseye catfish but it ate everything that I put in the tank with him, I still regret parting with him, he was real awesome.
I went to a local fish auction and a True Red Terror came up and started at $1... I was the only bidder…
I brought her home at around 4” and she was 5” just a few weeks later when I gave her away…
I actually gave her to a local fish club member in exchange to ‘borrow’ his beautiful female Dempsey to spawn with my Blue Dempsey. It’s an amusing case of fish prostitution… she’ll be going home shortly after the first of the year when I finish exploiting her loins…
It was a good deal for both of us in the long run… but that RT was a damn impressive little fish…

my first ever Silver arowana a few years ago that i hand fed, gave him away at 15" and still miss him to this day
