So in my 200 gallon tank I have this API brand strip for my thermometer. I had it for about 6 years at least and its pretty accurate where I set my heaters but wanted to get something that will tell me exactly my temp. Also I have some other tanks without a thermometer and rely on the heater. All I can say this product is very cheap and is dead accurate. Longevity not sure but it does its job.
This is the ones I used. I have the old school kind too where you can get it almost everywhere but wanted a digital one. I saw one youtube review where one guy had a problem where it wouldn't turn off but I never had this issue.

Good product and bought two just incase. It only took me two weeks to get in surprisingly from China. I wasnt even in a rush it was something I just wanted to have.
I hope this helps someone or if someone already has this give some more input. I just check it every week and water changes. This helps with water changes I don't need to just guess with my finger if its the right temp lol
