Does anyone here use fish vitamin drops? The ones you add to the water or soak the fish food in before giving to the fish? I dont remember what the brand is but its meant to be added to the water like a few drops per gallon. I used to keep flowerhorns and a local breeder/collector gave me tips on how to grow my juvie fh quick and make them colorful. He told me to soak fish food (I think it was Humpy Head somekind of XO product) in fish vitamins. I find bottles of these vitamins at all lfs. I'll try to get one sometime and post pics.

Does anyone use them or know if they really do affect the fish in any way? Im growing some polypterus and want to boost their growth

Vita-chem? I soak my tilapia and frozen foods in it because they are missing the nutrients of the skin and bones, but idk how much it helps.

I've used Vita-chem and when I was into sharks I soaked their food in Selcon.

I didn't.

I don't know if I would laugh or just laugh at this concerning upon your profile avatar. I guess your avatar just connects with a grumpy,

"I didn't"
Guess I could have added a little more in my answer but when I used those items I didn't really expect to see anything different in my fish since they were already healthy in the first place..I was always wondering if my sharks got the nutrition they needed from the raw but not whole foods that I fed to them.Thats where the Selcon came in.

It might be just like for humans with food supplements. Well getting some peas/spirulina powder and roll it over a little would add a big nutrition factor for your fish diet.

P.S. Krich I really did laugh. haha.

Lol glad I got a laugh out of ya.
