fish vs powerhead

Since i got home from work 3 hrs ago i lost 2 fish to the powerhead. A pleco i have had for 3 months was somehome sucked up into the unit. A 4 in tiger oscar also fell victim to the powerhead. whats goin on? this is the first time i have lost fish this way and both within hours of eachother.

aqua clear 70 and 125 gal

Whats going on? Your fish got sucked into a pump. Fix it so that won't happen, or get rid of the powerhead.

are you sure your fish weren't unhealthy or beatup, making it weak?

You said they got sucked up into the unit...are you talking about a HOB power filter?

no, the powerhead. how do i fix the powerhead so it doesnt happen again?

I assume there is space that the fish can fit through, if they got inside it.

no they got stuck in the intake
