fish vs powerhead

theres a sponge that aquaclear makes for the powerheads. You can buy one of those and attach it.

it might be possible to jam a non-treated sponge into the intake tube
but MAKE SURE its a non-treated sponge

are you sure your fish weren't unhealthy or beatup, making it weak?

no, i fed them when i got home from work and they were acting normal. they ate like they do every other day

maybe they followed food into it and when one fish got killed the other tried to feed on the carcass?
could a power surge make the unit stronger? lol dumb question but worth a try, no?

just pick up a block of sponge media that every fish store on the planet carries and cut a notch in it and fit it over the intake... ...... .......
