Cichlids are a good option and are usually portrayed as the more personable fish.
The most interactive fish I have ever owned was a paradise fish, he followed me or my fingers whenever I was close to the tank. My goldfish would also cruise after me, and a few fancy types would be grand in a tank that size
Add Jaguar to the list. I've had / have all sorts of cichlids but my Jag I use to have was probably the most personable fish I have had to date. He was like having a puppy in the tank.
For a 450l tank, I would say a flowerhorn is a good option. Any central American cichlid that grows to around 12" would be a good choice, most of the commonly available ones like Midas, Viejas, etc. will interact with their owner. However, these would only be good options for a single-fish situation in this tank size. A pair could work, but when you keep fish in groups or pairs, they often don't interact with the owner quite as much as they would.
Polleni is cool I have one myself. Dunno if mine has as much personality as my Oscar does, but I agree on the looks. Mine looks really nice all blacked out with the bluish tinted / white small spots along the body.

It's hard to say, depends on how the Oscar is. My polleni is a little aggressive but not real bad, but my Oscar will try to kill anything that is in his tank. So if you have an Oscar that is more on the friendly side and raised with tank mates the polleni would probably work with him. My Oscar was raised alone though so he does not play well with others
