Another vote in for Oscars, my Texas is also very personable, she comes to the glass to stare back at you but doesn't beg for food like my 2 O's do.

Fire eels also (ime) seem very friendly and interactive, mine always stares back at me and my family (not so much with guests) and is very eager to accept treats and food via hand feeding.

Another vote for oscars they do a heck of allot more than stare....mine chases me or my kids from one end of the tank to the other and attacks the glass if you get too close for too long..

Oscar, hands down to me, he hangs out with me and watches football. no chance of feeding involved, just wants to hang out. blue eyed gibby pleco next. smart fish. Jags like cats, if you aint feeding me piss off. JD, humm, they either want to eat or go away as i am hiding.

Oh wow! So many votes for oscars! I gotta keep a couple then haha :). I don't have a video yet but this guy chills near the glass and turns to me and starts moving his head up and down haha!
