Fish won't eat pellets

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have heard good things about market shrimp but the problem is they are all still very small and brine shrimp is the only thing they can eat easily at this time. I also have krill but again it's a bit too large for my fish especially my small Lyonsi.

I agree with trying NLS Thera-a, or Omega One Marine Pellets both have garlic. If you want him to eat pellets feed him pellets and only pellets, if he is not sick and nothing is wrong with him he will not starve himself to death. You have to train him, don't let him train you, it's like a dog don't reinforce negative behavior. It's a battle of wills, he'll come around.

okay then I will try to find that bran of NLS and stop feeding brine shrimp for a while.

kent makes a great garlic extract. the fish will wake right up. they do have a good sense of smell. small bowl, few drops of garlic == happy full fish.... i hope things turn out ok...

Thanks guys for all the comments and concerns. I will try everything and see what happens. Hopefully, he will be eating normally very soon.

he might still be a little upset in the belly just watch him for a while
