Fish you dislike.

Im not very fond of fish that are inactive or hide all day.

So if monster fish were common and mini fish were rare would most of us switch over and want to collect little nano fish/tanks?

I don't think so because there are plenty of common monsters that we all keep (oscars, silver arowanas, Midas, RTC) and plenty of rare small guys.

I would have to say that i dislike mollies, tiger barbs and angel fish...they bore me to tears....Infact ever since i got my Saratoga my liking for communty fish went down quite a bit..

I really amn't fond of all rays. I think it's because of the sucking mouths. I don't really like catfish for this reason either. Nice bodies but the mouths...eeeugh

never saw a fish i didnt like for one reason or another. fish are friends AND food, we keep the frozen food fish on the shelf under the frozen fish food. i personally would never own one of the little blue lobsters, cuz about the time he reaches one pound i would be tooooo tempted to trade in his tank for a pot. did you know that clown knives are considered a food fish in thailand? i have had knives and would never cook anything that i have given a name. not to start a war but mmmmmmmmmmmmm sushi

I dislike unnatural man-made hybrids (Blood Parrots, Flowerhorn, etc.), also uncomfortably expensive fancy goldfish.

- fish with the big humps on their heads (it does look like a tumor)
- stupid fat goldfish
- all stupid ugly albino fish
- several ugly carps
- my own ray!

The last is a surprise to myself. Although I find the shape of a ray cool and it is fascinating how it swimms, I also find it quite repulsive and very annoying. It is just too active. Seems neurotic. And it is somehow ugly too.
The albino convict that I put in the tank as a feeder, picks on the rays back. I feel sorry for the ray and I really hate the convict, but I don't like the ray either.

I also have a discus that is blind on one eye. His name is "Moshe Dayan". However, unlike the brave Israeli general, this fish is easily spooked. So, when I feed the discus, he often jerks, spooks everybody and the food sinks to the gravel. So I hate him too.

Sometimes I hate them so much that I feel like beating them, and at night I grind my teeth.

i dont like the common pleco.. it just seems so boring... i love the yellow spotted plecos and the albino ones.. theres some really cool looking plecos but the common ones are just like blah...
