The longest I have kept a fish was an Oscar I had for 8 years. I had to bury him in 1999; cause of death: Death by child and a handful of M & M's.

Ouch. Sorry to hear. The only time i would get irritated at my little boy is when
he would mess around with my 30 g on the floor. He would use the HOB filter to
"wash" his hands. Last week , i found the 30 with a lot of bubbles on the top. Who knows what he dropped in there.

The longest I've ever kept a fish is probably my reds, which I've had for a little over a year now.
