Fish youve kept the longest?

well, for me it would be my endlicheri endlicheri. close to 3 years now. its a short body kind. 14 inches & downs 2 bull frogs per day. damn its AWESOME.
Lets see I had some piranha for about 6 years died in a power outage.
Had a Ornate for close to 7 years jumped out a year ago at 18+".
My wife had a comet gold fish(REX) that I took care of, we had that fish for
like 8 years or so before it died, this comet was always big around 7".

Longest fish i kept was my adult Red Piranha.. Had it for 7 years just about until he injured himself in the tank because of a couple stupid kids that were hitting the tank when i wasnt home. He ended up slicing his head open and it got real infected. I tried everything to save him , spent lots of money on antibiotics but it was such a deep gash that it wouldn't heal. DAMN KIDS, i was so pissed of, they were kids of some people that were visiting my family. If i would have caught them doing that i would have broke their necks. That was such a loss to me.
The longest fish ive kept is a walking cat fish and a soon hock(Oxyeleotris Marmoratus) for 5 and 6 years respectively. They are still alive.
