As an aquariast and a fisherman? woman? lol... That fish would either go back where I caught it.. Or In a big tank in my house! lol... though getting the permits would be an interesting ordeal.

To my knowledge you don't need permits in WI, just a fishing license and a fish of legal size.
 
To the matter at hand, contact Cabela's they pay top dollar for trophy mounts. They probably would have paid you far more for the live speciman to put in their live display tanks... but at this point you might be fine with selling them your mount.
 
^that is exactly what i was thinking, im sure cabelas or bass pro shops would pay top dollar for a good mount of a fish like that.
 
if this was a large mouth bass, your talking about 6 figures, brown bullhead, maybe a few bucks.
 
Nice job!!! I wouldn't say they would be a ton of money out there for it though, I don't think the bluegill world record holder made much off of that. Write the story down, fishing mags will pay some bucks for that and pics. Contact manufactures and see what they have to say, wouldn't hurt. Very popular fish, just not a big money fish. But very well done!!!!
