Fishes Acting a lil Funny

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I did test it Im asking questions cause Im trying to figure out what the deal is with the tank and I can not figure it out. trying to find people who have had this happend to their tank before and had similar problem.

It does seem to me that it is related to the condition of your water. Even if it isn't the water, water changes help out tremendously in healing fish injuries.

How long has the tank been set up?
What are you feeding and how often?
How long have these fish been together? Were there any new additions?

In a 200g tank, it would require a lot of medicine to medicate the whole tank. You might want to pull fish out and place them in a hospital tank for bacterial treatment. There are meds out there that hit both gram negative and gram positive bacteria.

Moreover, salt is usually very helpful for fish as well as the use of melafix.

Good luck!

Sounds like aggression. One of the red devils is kicking the crap out of everybody if I had to guess.

Sounds about right. Most fish staying in a corner on one side? Sound like aggression to me!

The fish floating on its side, does it also have red lesions ?
Are there any fish that are NOT suffering from these symptoms?

Two osccars the only two that does not have any rashes but for a little while they were just laying there but they are fine before any other fish. Well right now with water changes and some fishes loss also two fish in a hospital tank the 200 gallon is looking like its getting a lot better..

I never seen aggression causing something like this, weird...
