i think there is some pike from the congo thats pretty evil lookin.
Hepsetus Odoe-African Pike Characin,Papirocranus Afer-Featherfin Knifefish,I think the Butterfly fish are from the area as well.

Have you looked at the african biotope thread in the photo lounge for ideas, the humpheads are you talking about steatocranus casuarius or we call it the blockhead?.
Weve got one which seemed to get on with our bichirs but only gets to around 6.5" which is what ours is,nice fish but is basically a bottom dweller.

i'm intrested in those humheads. are they rare? the congo puffer is very aggressive in my knowledge. is it true?

You definitely DO NOT want to put a congo puffer in a community tank... since its will just be a matter of time before it tears all your other fish limb to limb.... not to mention they aren't very active and tend to stay buried most of the time waiting to ambush prey...

I thought about turning my 125 into a Congo river biotope. Lots of cool fish from that area.

Steatocranus sp. (casaurius, tinanti, etc.)
Teleogramma sp. (brichardi, monogramma, etc.)
Hemichromis Thomasi
Synodontis sp. (angelicus, brichardi etc.)
African red eye tetra (Arnoldichthys Spilopterus)

..and (I think) Distichodus Sexfasciatus)

african pike? iono if there are from the congo, but yea :D

Thats a nice facial shot of the Odoe.

They should be fine together and they won't compete for food.

just a curiosity question, are sexfaciatus fin nippers like leporinus?
