In rocky creeks by me I like to fish with Manns shallow running crawdad, run down to 3 feet, if you point your rod down, it can get to the 4 foot range your river is at. Crawfish live in the rocks and its usually the smallies number 1 food.

i like flipping tubes in the rivers around here. may consider that as well.

I have these zoom 4inch tubes if thats what you mean. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1377563189.099151.jpg. ill give them a shot. Was gonna today but just kept usin the jig again. How do you normally fish them? I like jerkin most soft plastics across the bottom but its literaly impossible to not get snagged unless usin a float

Heres some more of my boxes just to show you guys what i have. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1377563412.122639.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1377563505.434586.jpg. I might try one of these jigs next time too. Its a little smaller than the normal jigs, but i caught one smallmouth about a week ago on a small grub, and nothin for a long while on anythin to big. those tubes are exactly what i was talking about. Jig them over a short distance then reel the rest of the way in. Use tube jig heads ( i prefer ones where the eye is at a 45 degree angle and opposed to the sharp 90). Target certain spots and cast around. any soft craws should catch some fish too.

Thanks for the help man. Any ideas on how to minimize the amount of snags if i dont use a float? Id love to jig craws, worms, tubes, stuff like that on the rocky bottom without gettin snagged on the rocks every other cast (somtimes more).
