Fishing for menu thoughts and suggestiongs

Hello everyone

I own a restaurant that is located on a University campus and am about to post up a new menu this weekend.

Recently school just started 2 weeks ago and I wanted to wait till the new corporate food people who took over in June set their menu for the year.

Looking for some thoughts from those who would be students whether secondary school or post secondary as to what they would be looking for when they come to a food outlet in their shcool .

I will post up what I do for a menu after I put it up this weekend.,

Good pizza. Good bufalo wings not them wussy wings. u gota have something that makes u run to the harbour when u done eating just so u dont burn your bathroom down. Good Steaksubs. These are things u can generaly cook in 10 to 15 mins u keep time down. Quality good and they will come. Also play younger people music.

Interesting you should mention heat. I have a hot sauce that I make that takes me 9 mths to make.

Previously I had offered in a thread here to send samples to people but got totally sidebarred by a few things.

I am about to make a new batch and will offer up samples to people when I make it.

Thanks for the ideas.

I am looking forward to what comes from the fish community here.

When I post up the new menu, I am going to start a new thread where I post up what I am doing for specials and soups and such and will welcome suggestions from people there as well and try my best to incorporate them into what I do.

Eventually I am hoping to post up a youtube cooking channel.

burgers, subs, pizza, sandwiches and all the side stuff would make me come to you during lunch

spicey stuff is now huge with college kids, cheese steaks are a must, and toss in some burritos and stuff like that

I thought I would put up the menu for yall to see what I presently am doing.

Salads- Spinach, Caesar, Chefs, Pasta, Bean
Wraps- Egg Salad, Hummus, Veggie, Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Caesar, Smoked Seafood, Wild Salmon, Shrimp Creole, Smoking Gun(hot italian deli)
Soups- done fresh daily changed daily
Specials- changed on a daily basis
