most definitely taking in all the suggestions

So when I was picking up stock last night came across some super nice fresh leeks and zuchini. So for soup today we have.

Garden Green Barley Cream-with a nice roasted garlic/red pepper essence to it.

Maybe consider a chili as well. Mix it up between a typical chili (chunks of veggies and meats), a con carne (blended veggies and meat added), and a white chili.

I would have to also suggest something like a pastrami or corned beef as well. Sometimes a good salty meat is just great.

I just know someone somewhere is tempted to pick that up as a signature. Sorry man that just got me laughing.

By the way love the avatar what character is it.

Everybody loves Spring Rolls.....Nearly anything tastes good in Brick Dough or Spring Roll wraps......You can make batches and freeze em. You will find Everyone also loves Sushi.....Make a Spicy Tuna and avocado roll and lightly tempura fry it......The heat refreshes the rice so they can be made ahead. On a different note Ribs and Brisket is always great.....again.....make it the day before. All about the Mise en place!

I say BACON, topped with BACON, wrapped in BACON. Jk but bacon is the new filet minon. For college kids think fast, overflavored, and large portions. I would also recommend some dishes that incorporate "liquor" in the name. Maybe a jager spring roll dip, or a jck daniels roast beef panini.

do stuff that is a super carb loader like pasta

Man that is like pullin hen's teeth. They just give me this dumbfound look, then look up at the existing menu and say that looks good enough for me. That is the whole reason why I posted up this thread.

I am an odd eater but if I could get seafood (not salty fried seafood - good fried seafood that's not greasy) or cajun shrimp or sushi.... I would be happy. I eat on campus at least once a week (I only have classes 3 days) and would love to have those as options. A good pizza would be cool too, not like a mall pizza. A good roast beef sandwich or sub of sorts, a really good soup and or salad and I like the spring roll idea too they always taste good.
