just got my fishing liscense.. went fishing this evening (niagara river U.S side) i cought a fish.. and some old fisher men who i wasnt with but were also fishing told me to "kill it" and i asked why and they told me it was a non native fish called the Goby? and that its hazerdous to our native fish... they said they catch about 10 a day and throw them in the trash
well i couldnt bring myself to doing it so i brought it home and its in my 20 gal. tank... should i know anything.. let him go (or is what they said was right??) it looks just like this fish
