I think that your ray will be alright.

You have been given good advice. As long as it is eating you do not have much to worry about.

i dont no why they just dont use gill nets for an area and sink them a tiny bit into the sand it would cause alot less problems

my male motoro witch i have had for months had a fishing hook sticking out of his belly

i want to ask, why you have hooks in the tank? was you trying to get him out?

i get a 3 pound box of morton kosher salt for about 2 bucks...

at home depot you can buy 50lb bags of morton water softener salt, which is the exact same as aquarium salt, for under $5.

I have found them in my tank from fresh imported rays before.... I always figured the ray threw them up...

its from wen they catch the fish in the rivers sometimes the fish ingest the hook and well i guess it was its time to poke its barb out of my ray
