ok iam going to florida on saturday and iam going to go sw fishing but i want to go fishing for fw fish......the hotel has a biggish lake/pond(not sure but there water  ) next to it, they said they do fishing day-outs there but not sure if its the one right next to it. so where is the best place to fish in orlando and what can you catch there:confused:
thanks dave

If you fish there make sure you have a visitors fishing license.

In the small ponds/lakes LMB would be the primary fish you would catch. Live shiners would be the best producers for beginners/people not familiar with the area.

anythink else iam not a newbie at fishing ive caught a 160lb blue marlin in dominican republic, decent pike and common carp. is the snakeheads, any cichlids and biggish catfish there?

I believe Orlando is too far north for the snakeheads and Peacocks and other exotics.

I've seen the PBass in Ft. Lauderdale and South.

yeah i would like to do both, what types of catfish can you catch? is the any cichlid like cons. i no the not big fish but my little brother would come and he has to catch somethink and i think seeing wild cichlid would be cool
