^^^^^ and smelt, beefheart, pellets, earthworms, and whatever else makes it in the tank.

I never had a problem with the sticks, the fish(piranha I used it on) would just grab bites or grab the whole peice off the stick.

I fish in my tanks, but always catch and release. LOL

I did this for my Pbass but they hit the string instead of the shrimp lol

OK, "fishing" by simply attaching a piecwe of shrimp to a lenght of a line does not work. Since there is no weight, bait simply floats, and each time you jerk the line shimp hardly moves. My fish did not react in any way other than giving me a look of digust, as if they were saying "hey man, WTF is wrong with you?!"

I could ofcourse put together a real "aquarium fishing rig" with a weight and all. I'm just afraid that fish with end up swallowing that little weight or something. I will try to go with the Plan B now: will get a feeding stick from Pet Solutions and hopefully it will work

I remember doing that a few times when I first started in the hobby. I think in a long-term situation, most likely the majority of people wont have time to take time to tie food to a fishing line and feeding the fish in that manner. In my opinion, I think it's better to do it the old fashioned way, training the fish to eat raw foods by means of starvation until new food is accepted.
