Fishing on Rio Uruguay

That looks like a really good time. The fish in pics 4 & 5 really is incredible.

Did you keep any? If so, what are they like to eat?

Released both fish. It was a really fun day.

If you can believe, it was only about $35-40 for a 4 hour session.

Of course, the $35 per head doesn't include the price of flying to Uruguay or driving to Salto.

We followed up fishing with a most excellent feast at Felipe Cantera's in-law's place in Salto: awesome meat on the (wood-fired) grill with all of the fixings.
