I had actually thought about it with the little guy but decided it was a commitment I could not handle right now. After I caught that large one I was really glad I made that choice.

Like everyone responded to your other inquiry on the same subject, sunfish will eat anything. You can put a piece of gum on a hook and catch them. [i've done it.] You can throw in a bare hook, and when the sun hits it, sunfish will jump on it. [I've done it.] Sunfish are the easiest freshwater fish to catch. One would have to be a total fool to go fishing in a location where sunfish are prevalent and leave without getting a few bites.
