I am really looking forward to this fishing season, I hope to have my 135g set up as a native tank and to catch some fish to stock it with. (Bluegill, Orange-spotted Sunfish, Green Sunfish, Black and Yellow Bullheads)
Bass fishing over here in Hong Kong is incredibly difficult. Usually we fish for bass in very quiet reservoirs with very clear water. Fishing in those reservoirs is hard enough, there is fishing pressure and the bass are very finicky. This fish was caught in a highly pressured local pay pond, where there are very few bass. I also didn't bring my rubberjig rod which meant I had to throw my jig on a medium action flimsy wacky worm rod. I fished the whole day and had 2 bites... only landed one fish. I wonder if it's like this over in the USA and Japan? It must be easier.
If anyone is interested in the gear I use because it may look slightly different from the gear you may find in the US:
Rod: Abu Garcia Hornet Stinger HSPC-662M MGS
Reel: Revo LV-7 L
