Hey JD you mind if i posted your pics on Panhandle Pier Fishing?
 
I dont know if you guys have ever hear of this, but I got a mini fishfinder for christmas. You tie a little sonar which is only 2" in diameter on your line, throw it out, and it reads onto a small screen which you put on your rod. Pretty interesting, looks pretty neat, finally be able to ready the bottom a little better. Can't wait to try it out.

in other news, got back to my apartment today from going home for christmas and it had been broken in to. very little missing, 7 or 8 other apartments in the same complex also were robbed in the same time period. everybody reported the same thing, only things stolen were jewely and cash. smdh i'm jumpy. glad all my fishing gear was with me at home, went out and bought another couple knives anyways and am looking in to a shotgun.

Sounds like its time to move. Were all of your neighbors gone as well? If so, I BET it was some one in your neighborhood that knew who drove what.
 
its a college apartment complex so pretty much everybody was home for break, it happened in a couple other complexes as well. it woulda been really easy for them to sit in the parking lot at night and see which lights were on and which weren't, my neighbor was one of few that didn't have an issue, they left a light on over break. wish i woulda thought of that :|
 
Fishing season is three months away for me and one summer I caught thirty pound grass carp. Those are funnest fish ever to go sight fishing for. I remember this one pond where it was stocked with bass and it was very small and there would be these shallow areas that would drop off and i see all kinds of action there and I fished this main dropoff and threw a live frog in there and a monster bass hit the second that frog hit water. Once there was these stair steps where you could look into the murky water and once I dangled a bass's head in the water that i caught and the biggest bass I ever seen rised from the water and looked at me it was atleast twenty pounds and I freaked and took the head out of the water than then the bass dissapeared. But that pond seemed overstocked. I can't wait 'till the ice melts

20lbs? They dont even get that big in Florida, let alone a place with a limited growing season.
