also awaiting a new Ming Yang CL70a baitcaster to go on a new 8' Glostick. Not quite an Abu but have heard really great reviews and a 2 year warranty. Will be interested to compare to my Abu 6500c3.
Catfish above was caught on a 7'0 Medium action lightning rod and a spinning reel. Truly a blast compared to just cranking 'em in on a beast reel and rod. Fish fought like mad. Bait was a 5" chub, never thought that it would get hit before the sunfish and bullheads I had out.

he looks pretty long, the 11lber was shorter then both the 10's i caught the other day but had such a bigger belly. might be going again tomorrow night
only bite I got last night. Hit right at 9pm and nothing for next 2.5 hours. Caught on a 8 inch yellow perch on a 5/0 team catfish hook. Reel was my abu 6500c3 on a 7' MH Ugly stik.

nice fish brother. schools back in full swing = no time for fishing. sucks, but a few more years at university and im done. what did u catch him on? once the perch run up the rivers here i cant keep them off the hooks either, they love sucking down the little bluegills even got one 12" on an 8/0 gamakatsu last year.
also, is your ugly stick a catfish or just a regular? i love my Uglystik 7' catfish rods for flatties and channels.

thanks guys. fish was caught on a 7-8" yellow perch. Ugly stik is just the regular, not the catfish model.
