I am planning to fish the White River this weekend. State record carp and flathead (89lbs) were pulled out of there. I plan to throw out some shrimp, worms, live and cut 'gills. Local catfish forum I found said the flats are starting to bite and the channels are going wild. Flood warnings just expired so the water is still stupid and muddy.

I need to start carrying a setup with me, but carrying around a 7ft rod in a car is going to be hard when there is not a pass thru from the trunk....

I live on campus so All my gear is in the truck at all times I keep the back seat up so all my stuff is on the floor. When people need rides I just put it in the bed. Fish landed-3

4-21 was just quick walk at the D&R canal(Province line Rd) where I was able to bang one. Funny thing about the fish tho, was it had this leach like looking thing attached to its head !

4-23 was a boat trip out to "Farrington' with the co-founder of Fishaddix.com(James). Nobody caught nothing, matter of fact we couldnt even spot fish on his finder !

4-25 was a quick stop in Morrisville,PA at a little pond behing a 7-11. Ive landed a few decent two pounder there in the past. So today after taking my baby girl to get de-wormed/shots I rode passed and said "why not". I hopped out with one pole(buzzy) and took my shot. It was a few bass in what I want to believe is prespawn, it seemed as if they were getting ready to spawn. They were right up against bank and would swim away when I walked up. I did one walk around with the buzzy and only seen one small blow up. So I ran back to the car and put on my number one(chatter bait). Sure enough the bass I seen was back in the same spot but this time I went up shoreline about 15ft away. First cast in his direction BAM fish on, a decent two pounder ! About 15 minutes later I was parrelleling and BAM a monster 4.7 jumped right the "chatter-chatter"

Havent been fishing much but today was exactly what I needed !!!

I haven't got anything on my any of my chatters yet I have the black/blue shad white/chart and just orderd one in perch.

Did a quick hour right before dark and was able to land my first BUZZY fish of the year !!!!

It was a little guy but that means the fishing season is in FULL swing

Yeah the river here (Cedar River) is still really mudy I'm ready for some BIG cats!

Think I'm going to go out today and try the new livetargets I got yesterday... gf was feeling good so she offered to buy me some new stuff $100 so I got a few livetargets and told her to hold the rest towards a new rod.

Went out for a few hours got a 3 bass the biggest being 15" all on spinners and about 12 channel cats nothing big all on liver and a little fat bullhead.

Then today I went out for about a hour and a half. CF I think I spoke too soon about not getting any on the chatter. Got one little 12".

Going this afternoon for some bream and carp.

threw in a line while I was working yesterday and caught 3 channel cats on 3 pieces of bait. I like that percentage. Nothing big though. Also foul hooked a crappie somehow. Saw a nice 3-4lb bass covered in some type of fungus swimming along the shoreline clueless to his surroundings Going for some big river cats tomorrow.
