FISHING SEASON 2K11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hit the pier tonight after we took mama out to dinner.

caught 4 channel cats and 1 white perch. kept baits big and lively to keep the perch away tonight. all were small, except the last 6lb 6ozer i got and my buddy got a 7lb 11oz female.

side note: i caught an atlantic needlefish in my castnet. wanted one for awhile anyone have experience with these in aquaria?

Not hating but a five pound bass has a WAY bigger mouth. Great catch regardless !!!

That bass could be five pounds. Big belly and decent length. The scale pic doesn't show the fish but there is no reason to doubt him. Nice catches

I agree it should be bigger. I was surprised myself but if you look at the pic inside the mouth you can see it had a pretty good sized fish in its throat. Couple more pics one with the fish on the scale.



5-8-11
Went out today to see if I could find a few pike only got one got 6 crappie and 1 bass also. Pike and bass were caught on 3-5' live target crankbait crappie were on pink n white or green and black. Never seen any crappie this dark before.

usually I use small breams and roach as bait for Pike and Zander.
So I fully agree with ya!
only problem is,fishing on all predatory fish on all waters is illegal in Holland from April the First till the last saturday in may.

that is a beautiful crappie. spawning mode id assume. i didnt go this year but we usually go to tennesee to lake reelfoot to fish crappie during the spawn and we catch alot of males that are dark like that.

rackin em up. hit a pond for 15 minutes on my way home for crappie and caught my first bass of the year a massive 6" lolz

soaked some bait in the Santa Monica bay on Saturday. Slow fishing for 3 hours and only 2 sharks caught. I caught a Hornshark and my son caught his first shark ever all by himself. A 30" Smoothhound shark. As you can tell he was super stoked.

That water needs to hurry up and clear up so you can post up some of those big cats! Yeah that sure was a monster bass you caught.

Went out last night and landed 15 plus channel cats from 7-9 p.m. took a couple of pics that are up on facebook. mucheasier to just upload them there lol.

What up fellas's !!!

IDK if anybody realized it but I havent been as active here like the past two years. Its cause since my wife passed away I havent really been going hard with fishing. I've only took my boat a few times this year and in the past I would take it out 2-3 a WEEK. Life has changed for my in so many different ways and fishing which is still my passion had to take a back seat to work and some other things that are going on in my life. Just some quick venting and letting you guys know alittle about whats going on with me....

5-5 was a a couple hours at my Plainsboro spot. I took my boy Cliff with me and he beat the brakes off me by catching 5, with one of them being a 3.0 on the dot and I only landed one.....

5-6 was a quick 30 minute walk around at the college of NJ where I was able to land a decent two pounder before going to pick up my tools so I could make the remaining repairs to the boat. After I was finish Cliff and I went out to "Peddie lake". I landed 3 and Cliff got 4......

5-8 was a quick stop at a park called Bayberry park in Browns mill,NJ. I went to my cousins house and before I left I whipped out the phone and found the park on google maps. So on the way home I stopped and found this very nice body of water where I was able to land two small ones on the buzzy.....

5-9 was a two hour stop after work at "Rosedale". The bass are right up against the shoreline spawning, that made me mad but I was happy to see that the lake still has some monster left in it(F'ing bucket butts). I was able to make one made enough to slam my chatter bait..... Cliff was out there killing the crappie....

Fishing is still my passion but im in what I like to a transformation period in my life but PLEASE keep them lines WET for me !!!!!

only 5 gates open today, going tomorrow ill try and remember to take some pics if we catch any nice ones. they oughta be biting pretty good. after the 13lber last year its hard to imagine a 6lber as a nice one lol.
