stink bait,minnows and chicken livers not sure which because we put out like 50 floats/jugs we got him on a float made out of pvc pipe and those colored pool noodle floats it was like going after jaws it was so fun all we got on the jugs was a 5 pound channel cat so i think we are gonna make some more noodle floats if you look close you can see the one that are already rolled back up in the box to the left
Nice work fellas. I tried yesterday for like 3 hours and didn't get a single bite. No Problem tho cause weather permitting I'll be able to get some night fishing in this weekend !!!
Cichlid fiend didn't catch a fish!!?? What is the world coming to!!??
lol jkAnyways, I went out with my friend yesterday. largest fish was a 3/4 lb. Rock Bass. Chubby little fella! No pics once again, I really have to try and start taking more.
had a pretty good night last night, the big cats werent talking to us, but i got 2 rockfish (one 10" greedy sob and a 16") Both too small to keep but my first ones of the year. and was finally able to catch a decent size largemouth at 16" and 2lb even. Caught everything after dark so they pics were ****.

I did a nice long report but it got erased so short and sweet is what its going to be. Did some lake lake hopping after work this week with my boy Josa. My biggest was 2.1 and he landed a 3.7 on 6-8 !
It too dam hot to be out there but I love it enough to still try. If its not rainning tomorrow night, I will fish until the sun comes up. STAY TUNED !!

Went fishing today. Caught 5-6 fish, but I was using the Jitterbug and Spinner the whole time. Caught a nice Rock Bass and a Yellow Perch, and somehow managed to catch a small Pumpkinseed with the Jitterbug, which makes no sense to me. They're turning the Franklin Lakes Reservoir into a more public place now, they made parking spots and fixed and cleaned up a trail that goes along the Reservoir. Anyone who lives near Paterson should come fishing here! It's a great place!

I would like to start out by saying this night fishing trip is the best 11 and half hours of fishing I have EVER had in my life.
We got on the water and 8:30 so it was still light out, so I started out with the popper. Landed three and missed one before the sun went down. Its went dry for a about two hours where I was only able to land one but number five was 5.55 on the scale !!!!!! From there I was able to land the average catch size(13-15's) but number 16 was not cause it scaled at 5.63 !!! That was at 2am and I continued to catch with the chatter bait the remaining time before the sun came up around five. Once the sun was high in the sky I began throwing the popper & the 1.5 again and ran up the numbers with the little guys(7-10's), landed the last decent fish of the outting on the chatter bait slow rolling it in the grass line ledge ! Out of Dennis's 6 landed his biggest was a nice 2.7 !
This is the most fish I have ever caught in a 11.5 hours !! I used to be happy with one five pounder a season so catching two in one night made for what I would call an EXCELLENT outting!!!!
