FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Some pond fishing locally in my town has been serving up some nice fish. Yesterday was highlighted by bass busting minnows in the northwest corner. Throwing big topwater plugs did the trick.

Plus a cow I caught out on the sound on my first trip out in the salt since I have returned from Spain.

Tight lines!

Those are some nice LMB!

Voss, nice fish but unless your keeping them (which you very well may have), never ever hold a fish by its gill operculum. It can be very stressful and damaging to the gills.

I kept the striper. Usually I let fish this big go ( as they are always usually females at this size) However I fought it at least 15-20 minutes and it was gone of all energy by the time it was at the boat. Made for a nice dinner and then some though!

very nice crappiekeeper, where the heck is meredith pond? never heard of it but obviously it has some bigguns!

getting my SW gear together and I will hit the tackle shop when I get down there for some more weights and bucktails... really hoping to get something going this week but time will tell, if nothing else there are always dinks to catch!
