I caught a 3lb before this one felt much bigger

eh maybe its just the angle it looks in that range to me, if it had a big gut it might have hit a little under 4 its a nice fish any way you cut it, good job
Yeah had a big gut I think she was getting ready to spawn.

Had a great fishing day yesterday! Caught 26 fish off one box of 20 worms! Lol. I caught 6 with one worm! They were all biting above the worm so I was able to spare the worm fish after fish. Here's some of the smaller catches.
^ that one ate half the worm and I was using some 2" sea hooks I had as all the small hooks weren't working. ^ he's like 8".
These are the smaller ones. I took some of the bigger ones home but they died. Biggest fish today was a 2lb Lmb. Had some great colors! Wish they would have survived to go in my tanks

With the bright full moon I decided to hit the beach before sun up and chase the black fin tuna and try to get a shot at another sailfish.
Well no BFT and no sail today but the mackerel were on fire. Caught three kings and too many spanish to count. Kept one decent king and one stud spanish. The spanish is the smaller of the two fish.
I did have a loggerhead come right up to me. Closer then Ive ever seen a turtle. I could have literally reached out and pat his head but when he came up I was in the middle of fighting the big spanish so snapped a the best pic I could. The turtle is the blob in the upper left hand corner of the pic.

my daughters first bass that she caught all on her own from casting, hooking, and reeling it in. she caught it saturday on her second cast with a dollar spinner bait from walmart....she caught a smaller bass later that day.
