will do dreams, I kinda had him by the neck in between the gills rather than my hands holding his actual gills (dunno if it makes a difference but from now on i'll just grab the big suckers sideways if i get anymore)

you and j have created a monster! hopefully after next time it rains and the water comes up a little some more will get in to that little area
 
Andrew go to your local tackle shop and get some Gary Yamamoto plastics. There is a watermelon green w/ cinnamon flake double tail grub. It generally has a bushy head on top. I tear that top off and fish it weightless. Weedless or not this plastic produces big fish! You gotta fish it slow. Cast it out and let it sink...Once it hits the bottom let it sit 10 seconds or so. Give it a tiny pop or a couple small slow cranks. Let it sit again and repeat. If thats not working try lettn it sink and reelin as slow as you can keeping it on the bottom. GIve it a pop every now and then. Good luck. Those yamamoto baits killed it for me when i bass fished a lot.

Ive gotta pick up yamamotos i just use strike kings or whatever. Do you texas rig or wacky rig it? Or another way?
 
Ive gotta pick up a bunch of yamamotos. Ive heard so much good about them. Never heard anything bad about them other than the price.
 
price and sometimes the senkos tend to cast off the hook because they're so soft. also the fact that they're almost guaranteed to come off fighting a nice fish. for cheaper plastics this may not be bad but when you're paying almost a dollar a worm its easy to go through 2-3 packs in one good trip
 
you all are getting me jealous. the fire department has kept me busy and stressed with training and health problems draining my motivation when I'm off. Have only been out twice and no flats to show for it yet. Will be out friday night, hopefully some action.

Ya im no doubt going to buy a couple packs of yamamotos. Could someone post pics to show me how you rig your yamamotos?
