Sucks right now in FL. A lot of the bass are just not wanting to hit very well in the past 4 weeks. It's just too darn hot. Need to wait until later this month and bass are slamming all over like mad come mid october until late february.

I've thrown a lot recently. Lipless cranks, flukes, worms, magnum worms, spinner baits and my deep crank baits. 1 3-5 ft, 2 5-7 ft and my bomber 8-12 ft. Best yeilded fish since my last pic has been about 1.5 lbs.
Early morning right as light comes up I hit near the structures - docs, lillies, tree's, heavy raised weeds. Later it gets generally the deeper I move and change to my worms at first then lipless crank and deep cranks.
In checking it was 8/5 last good bass caught, however I did get a 6-7 on 9/1 but didn't land it so it doesn't count, imo.

Might go fishing today when I get back to ny. I've been getting ready for hunting season for a while now. Started to get my hunting clothes ready and my bow tuned in. But hopefully I can fish today

Wow there's even a fishing part to this forum!!! I know where I'll be a lot hahaha.
As my name suggest I'm always fishing or thinking about my next trip!!!
I am from south florida and the piers around me have been super hot right now. Just Wednesday there were two 20-25lb kings caught off Deerfield pier. Hooked two tarpon Saturday but couldn't land any. Will be back out there this week and hope to land a keeper king off the pier soon.
There's been many Bonita's and lady fish around with blue runners also.
Here's a few pics from the last two weeks.
That snook was taking on a popin cork rig with a straw that we use for Mack's.

Regardless had my scale with me, fought like mad and wrapped in lillies thank god I hooked it dead corner of the mouth. 6 pounds 2 ounces
