andrew its a centrifugal brake system, same as the revo S line. just undo the screw on the right side and the side plate will come right off. just play with it a little bit until you get to where you're comfortable. You'll definitely enjoy that setup a lot!

Ya I had the chance to go out to my pond last night at about 9 when it was about to be dark and I casted out a rebel popr magnum like three times. Im really liking baitcasters a lot more than spinning reels and I love how I have all abu garcia rods except the one falcon rod. And let me tell you this little 6'6 rod is so stiff its crazy! I cant wait to get out on either chadwick lake or even lake wallenpaupack soon!

Ya im a topwater addict! I have so many and im yet to even use half of them! Topwaters are always my first choice and then soft plastics are my second favorite

Forgot to post it but this weekend I left all my rods in pa except for my 6'6 vengeance and a quantum reel with 4 lb test. I hate light lines as I always feel like ill be broken off. But anyways I caught a 1.1 lber and a 1.5 lber. They were decent sized fish being that they were under 2 lbs. Heres pics of the two

And I caught a couple bass that you wouldnt believe how small they were! I casted out a strike king squarebill crankbait and then I thought that I was snagged and I pull out a 3" bass. I was catching fingerlings lol. Both bigger bass were caught on gary yamamoto soft plastics that were texas rigged. I love the rig but I hate how undurable the baits are. If im paying $1 for a single plastic I would hope I can use it more than once. On the 1.5 lber he completely destroyed it. It broke in half. But heck I cant complain that much, it catches fish. I just wish they were more durable

Could I fish saltwater with my orra sx? I am going to jones beach in long island tommorow and I was wondering if I could fish saltwater with that rod. I know that the 65 lb braid will be plenty I just want to know if the reel and rod can handle saltwater.

Has anyone else had that moment when you are fishing for bait or small fish and a huge fish takes your tiny lure? I was fishing for panfish and bass fingerlings (it's a fun way to spend a half hour instead of breaking out the big crank baits) and this sow took my little lure

@chuby offbrands run as cheap as 1-2 USD and range well over 20 USD. I'd say the typical hardbait for what I use runs between 4 and 10 bucks for bass

- andrew if you use that orra in the salt I would recommend giving it a full service cleaning afterwards and as soon as you get done fishing rinse it lightly with fresh water. it really isnt' designed for the salt you'd be much better off using a spinning setup
