its just the angle of the pic JD, made the head look real big. we hooked up the pair at the same time, this pic shows better - I WISH I'd caught the bull haha but the cow was actually bigger so it all works out...my buddy on the right is holding the bull from the pair

Nice fish man! How far do you have to go out to get the dolphin? And what depth?

Went out to the allegheny today on a friends private dock. As sad as this is since I'm a pittsburgher I've only fished the river three times and this was the first time I caught anything . Although I did catch some nice ones tonight so that makes up for it I suppose. Caught 4 sma rock bass, a small flathead, and two nice channels. Had on an extremely big fish of some type (probably a flathead) that took out 50 years a of drag, I could barely reel it in and it wound up jumping the hook.

You can be in 150 about 15 miles out here. 60 is well over 1,000 2,000+ in some places.
yeah man it sucks. That being said it drops off pretty quick, in a 5-10 mile range it drops from 150 to over 400 and then a few more miles to 600+ and soon 1000+. For me to go fish red grouper i've gotta go usually 35-40 miles minimum

Wow! Sounds like where I am on the gulf coast. Takes an overnight trip to reach 150ft. Here.. Usually about a mile a foot. Granted you can't hit 20ft at 5mi but, you get the point. LOL
We are in the marathon key right now for the weekend. Seas only 2-3 outside the reef which starts at 150-200 ft and only keeps dropping from there.. Gonna fish the 300-400ft first then out to 600
