not too shabby sir ;) where's the bottom fish?!?!?! THE REAL FISH!!! :headbang2 haha

I hate when the weather goes to hell

Lol! Don't go down there to bottom fish! I can do that in gulf. Ya, haven't had it that nice in years. 500-750ft and still calm seas.

glad it was good weather for ya... i had a possible trip planned tuesday and its lookin REAL iffy now

Went out today before the heat game and it seems everything is breeding right now. This snake was guarding 200+ fry when I tossed a frog right in the middle of the babies and she went berserk.

Then happened upon this tilapia guarding 25-50 fry

Fished erie again this weekend. Bite was pretty slow and we only caught about 45 fish. We caught everything from rainbow smelts, yellow perch, sheaphead (FW Drum), white bass, white perch, bluegill, pumpkinseed, hybrid sunfish, rock bass, and gobies (dang gobies stealing my perch bait :swear:)!

Allegheny treated me well again tonight. Caught two channel cats, one was 17" 2.5 pounds and the other was 18" 3 pounds. Caught two rock bass at the same time on separate hooks, both were around 6". Also caught a 13" 1.5 pound smallie. Both of the rocks swallowed the hook so I tried to take them out, one was fine and swam away but the other was close to death so I figured put it on a circle hook and try for some flatties. About 20 minutes later I'm hooked into something in the 40-50 pound range that I fought for about ten minutes before it got off the hook (right under the surface to) and i could see it was about 48-50" and was definitely a flathead. One of these days I'll land one of those monsters over a few feet long :).image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
