Fishing season 2k14!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went out for trout tonight, no luck. Started at my local lake trying to catch some bullheads on a meat whistle but the water was 46F and cloudy as heck so no action. Then went to my local creek and tried some nymphs but they weren't active tonight.
 
Tomorrow's going to be nice around me so I'm going out to fly fish for carp and maybe some channel cats.
 
Well some stuff came up this morning so I couldn't make it to pymatuning to fly fish however I did go to a friend'a dock on the allegheny and caught 2 channel cats (16" 4lbs, 18" 5lbs) and 2 common carp (23" 7 pounds and 24" 8 pounds).

In spring in gonna give my carp fishing a try again.
May i ask how wide that ones head was? Where i fish carp i have spotted card 15cm wide, and most likely 20cm too, they seem to have very side heads.

I didn't measure but probably around 5.5-6" / 15 cm

took vacation last week and whacked em. Slaughtered the speckled trout monday and then wednesday was grouper groping day!!
