I wouldn't call them wild aros, at least not most of them. The silvers are not native to SG & most of them, even the greens in the pics could be actually fish released by owners giving up the hobby or even for religious reasons.
I agree that singapore ain't the native ground for aros. But still I believe some of those aros are offsprings of those which were released in the early years.

Those are some good pics, nice aro's. Looks like you had fun. I just have known the ones in my tank, it would be amazing to live where they were available like that, but seeing them dead makes me sad cause I think of all the love that goes into one silly fish, it's ironic, it's a shame they are killed, but people need to eat.
