Fishing Wild Arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thats awesome I wish i could fish for them in Indiana...lol! We have bluegill WHAT! WHAT! Aro aint got nothing on bluegill!

I wouldn't call them wild aros, at least not most of them. The silvers are not native to SG & most of them, even the greens in the pics could be actually fish released by owners giving up the hobby or even for religious reasons.

I agree that singapore ain't the native ground for aros. But still I believe some of those aros are offsprings of those which were released in the early years.

I agree that's why I said not all are wild. :) Someone told me SG got wild green aro stock but whether they are "original" I am not sure hehehe.

its true that there is a wild arow stock dwn here....hmm...that kid with the rod in his mouth looks familiar...i think he's frm my school...hmm

Those are some good pics, nice aro's. Looks like you had fun. I just have known the ones in my tank, it would be amazing to live where they were available like that, but seeing them dead makes me sad cause I think of all the love that goes into one silly fish, it's ironic, it's a shame they are killed, but people need to eat. Thanks for the post.
