I have fished a couple of times but end up getting skunked mostly.
However on a recent trip to dale hollow lake (if you dont know where that is look where the world record smallmouth was caught) after numerous large (2-4) pound bass got off my hook i succeeded in pulling in the largest fish i had ever caught a 5 and a half pound smallmouth (that is big for a smallmouth.

Recently, 5 days ago actually i found out that a pond nearby had bass in it so i have been fishing everyday for more then 5 hours a day.
So far i have caught at least one bass there everyday except the fist day. I also caught a 13 1/2 inch crappie and a couple of 8 inch bluegills so far my biggest bass there is a 15 incher but i ooked into a larger one today.
Today i fished at a new pond and caught six bass in 3 hours the biggest was 15 inches and it fought really hard.
All of the fish i have caught in the last week or so was caught by a rapal original floater, one of my favorite lures now. It has caught a two inch bluegill several fifteen inch bass, a large crawdad and a 7 pound snapping turtle!
